Bitter Leaf by Chioma Okereke

In the spirit of supporting our local authors and keeping our loyal customers ahead of the next big thing, we would like to introduce you all to new local author, Chioma Okereke and her fantastic debut novel Bitter Leaf.

"The lives of six characters intertwine in an idyllic village that is African in nature but never geographically based. Set during a time of encroaching commercialisation, these colourful inhabitants of Mannobe try to get to grips with their changing situations, without losing themselves in the process."

This poetic work is perfect for a summer read and supports local talent too!
